To be eligible for an FHA loan, you must have a valid social security number and be eligible to work in the United States and be of a legal age to sign for a mortgage. An FHA Lender will verify your income, your downpayment, how much money you owe elswsewhere (other loans, credit cards, etc) and your credit history.
